Flower Planters II Hand Built Pottery

Second session added due to popular demand! Summer flowers are in full bloom.  What could be better than a lovely new planter to show them off. In this one day course, you will hand build a beautiful and functional ceramic planter with a separate drip tray.  When finished, your planter will be suitable for indoor or outdoor use.  No previous clay experience is required for this class. All tools and supplies will be provided by the clay studio. Projects will be glazed and fired and ready for pick up two weeks after class. Max 10 students.

Learn the newest, most up to date nutrition information, combined with cutting edge information on exercise to assist in releasing those unwanted pounds gently and easily, without restrictive diets. You must ask yourself, "Am I willing to make changes to achieve my goals?" If yes, this is your next step, regardless of how much weight you want to lose. Your instructor will work with you using hypnotic and meditation techniques to enable your continued success after class. Please bring a beach chair or blanket and pillow to class. Leaf Impression Bowls Hand Built Pottery

New Class! Created by nature and captured in clay by you.  In this one day hand building pottery course, you will create your own unique leaf impression bowl using leaves from trees in your yard or plants in the garden.  Press the leaf into a clay slab to leave a detailed impression and then form it into a bowl for a one-of-a-kind creation.  No previous clay experience is required for this class. All tools and supplies will be provided by the clay studio. Projects will be glazed and fired and ready for pick up two weeks after class. Max 10 students.

Summer is here and that means potlucks and family get-togethers.  Serve up your favorite summer snack or appetizer on your very own hand built tray.  In this one day course, you will use slabs of clay and special stamps to hand build a beautiful and useful serving tray. No previous clay experience is required for this class. All tools and supplies will be provided by the clay studio. Projects will be glazed and fired and ready for pick up two weeks after class. Max 10 students.

Are you looking for an accessible low-impact exercise program? Are you interested in managing pain or improving your balance? If so, Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention is a program for you. Tai Chi provides a low-impact exercise that improves muscular strength, flexibility, and fitness. Increasing your muscular strength supports and protects your joints which will in turn reduce pain. Exercises that work on flexibility also help to reduce pain and stiffness, thus improving mobility. Tai Chi improves your balance and significantly reduces the rate of falls in older adults. Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention can help you improve your quality of life and remain independent. 2X week. Water Yoga II

We're doing another 4 weeks. A great introduction to the hydrostatic benefit of water fitness.  Stretch, dance, walk, or swim and experience moving and exercising in the water. Gentle on the joints. This class will address aerobic conditioning as well as stretching and toning movements for the water. Adaptable to a range of fitness levels. Have fun while exercising! Max 15 students
