Crafting with Melinda; Fabric Flower Bouquet

Create a Fabric Flower Bouquet! Using bright fabrics and other art materials, students will create a bundle of colorful and delightful posies! All materials supplied by the instructor. Two weeks.

Pottery; Try Out the Potter's Wheel, Session 1

Experience working on the potter’s wheel in this two-hour session for adults. Working on the wheel is an age-old practice of using your hands and a spinning wheel to create useful and beautiful objects out of clay. You will learn the basics of centering the clay on the wheel, opening the form, and pulling up the walls to make everything from bowls to vases. Up to three completed pieces per person.
When: Friday, February 24, 2023 Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Three essential kitchen items all in one class! Come create a unique hand-built sponge holder, spoon rest, and soap dish for use in your kitchen. We will make all three items in this single class using slabs of clay that can be textured and patterned as you like.

Beginner Woodcarving

Discover the world of wood carving in this beginner woodcarving class! This class is inteded for anyone intersted in this old art form and as always wanted to know "how did you carve that?". Learn to use the tools provided to create a simple carving to enjoy for years to come. 6 sessions: Tuedays, two hours each.

Pottery; Butter Dishes!

Don’t you just love butter? It is so good to cook with and spread on warm bread. Butter is so wonderful that it deserves a fancy place on your counter. Get rid of that old plate with the chipped edge and come create your very own covered butter dish.

Do you have a project that you have given up on because you hit a snag and couldn’t figure it out? Did you start something you thought you could finish but it was too hard? Or do you just need a little boost to get your knitting habit back on track again? Betsy will be here Wednesdays in April to help you with your knitting problems. Dig out your unfinished projects and she will help you salvage them, or she will help you get started on something new that seems too challenging to attempt without guidance. Bring an old project or start a new one but have help as your work. 4 weeks.
