Post Election Pop-up with Great Decisions
with Lucy Abbott
Join WMSC members for this Post Election discussion group. You do not have to have any previous class time with Great Decisions. This is for all members.
Judy Weisman proposed a post-election meeting of Great Decisions to discuss foreign policy implications. Lucy Abbott will describe how Embassies and the State Department prepare for an election transition, how Embassies describe elections to foreign audiences, and how non-partisan government employees navigate the change in parties. Lucy joined the State Department under President Reagan and retired under President Trump, and so has been through a fair number of transitions!

Time: 10:00-12:00
