We will discuss what Essential Oils are and how you can use oils to support your physical and emotional health, enhancing your quality of life. Learn how to incorporate Essential Oils into your summer routine to cool off your body, calm down before long periods of travel, and sooth your summer skin. Essential Oils can also help you let go of all the stress that has built up in your body and can support your goals of maintaining a healthy weight by curbing your appetite, increasing your metabolism, and suporting your daily energy level. All participants will leave with 3 Essential Oil samples and 1 make and take Essential Oil product. .

Maine sushi enthusiast Matt Howe will share an abundance of ideas and techniques to help take your homemade sushi in creative new directions. Whether you are new to sushi rolling or experienced in making your own, this class is sure to expand your sushi horizons. We'll begin with a review of sushi rolling basics and then explore a range of topics including designing sushi rolls that feature the freshest and most sustainable seafood harvested along the Maine coast; using brown rice; trends in veggie sushi such as pink rice, beet rolls and marinated tomato nigiri; guidance on purchasing and proper handling of raw fish; making sushi burritos; and how to plan a complete sushi-themed dinner party with homemade miso soup, seaweed salad and a beautiful sushi platter that includes something for everyone, from strict vegans to the ardent sashimi fans. You’ll be busy making sushi from the start, so in addition to your favorite sharp knife, bring a large container to take your creations home.
