NDEC;Windows 10PC Intermediate

This course builds on the skills that are acquired in the Windows 10 Basics class, and you will learnhow to get even more from your Windows 10 PC. Learn how to organize your files, manage storage, learn about shortcuts, file compression, and more.

A Windows 10 computer with Internet access and completion of Windows 10 PC Basics or equivalent knowledge.

Create a whimsical and unique ceramic fairy house for your garden. This is a two-week class. The first class will cover building your fairy house. The second week will involve detailed painting of your project with ceramic underglazes. No previous clay experience is required for this class. All tools and supplies will be provided by the clay studio. Your finished project will be fired and ready for pick up approximately one week after the last class.

This class is meant for beginners but experienced crochet enthusiasts can join too! Yarn is included (unless you have your own yarn), just bring your hooks (sized F or G), a yarn needle, and some scissors to work with.
Victoria Ojeda Monsalve will guide you through the work and you will leave with a VERY CUTE chicken that will look sweet in your house without the mess.

No devices are required, but you may get more from the course by brining a device that can connect to the interenet and allows you to access your email.

Research has found that playing games online has benefits for mental health, such as improvingmemory, enhancing cognitive skills and helping focus. In this class we will visit several great siteswith a wide variety of fun games.

Two of the great benefits to your Google account are Google Drive and Google Docs. Google Drive is free cloud storage and Google Docs is Google's free alternative to MS Word. In this class you willlearn how to store and manage your files online as well as use the Google Docs platform where youcan create stunning documents.

Your dispenser will be glazed in your choice of color and ready for pick up approximately two weeks after class. No previous clay experience is required for this class. Behavioral Health Professional Certification
with Woodsfords Family Services

NEW CERTIFICATE PROGRAM! We are please to offer this certification program with our new partner, Woodfords Family Services. Woodsfords Family Services administers the Behavioral Health Professional Training & Certificate Program for the State of Maine.
This program is completey ONLINE, self-paced, and can be started any time after you enroll. Once you have registered here online, WFS will reach out to you to begin their enrollment process.
There are 12 online modules and three, four-hour live sessions. Once you have completed the 12 modules and three live sessions, you will need to complete the OSHA-compliant Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP) Training and have Adult & Child CPR/First Aid with AED (if you have not done so already).
BHP training and certification is required for direct care providers working in Children’s Behavioral Health Services in the school, residential, or home/community setting, in programs receiving MaineCare reimbursement for section 28 RCS, 28 RCS Specialized, 97 Children’s Residential, and 65 HCT or Day Treatment Services. Additional requirements for BHP certification include current Child & Adult CPR/First Aid certification and completion of an OSHA compliant Bloodborne Pathogens training.
To be eligible to take the BHP course, individuals must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Proof of education is required. Additional education requirements must be met to be eligible to provide MaineCare Section 65 services.
