Easter Egg Fun

Let your creative juices flow! Design your own eggs following India's easy step by step instructions.  All materials are supplied. Learn about the traditional craft of Ukrainian Easter Eggs (Pysanky) as well as the principles of wax resist method of dyeing. Max 10 students.






Greek Night

This is a hands-on and lecture class, where you will learn to make Greek chicken, Spanikopita (spinach pie), and of course Baklava for dessert. Bring your appetite and a covered dish to take home your creations.

Brighten up your mid-winter nights with a ceramic luminary. In this one day course, you will use slabs of clay to hand build a beautiful and functional ceramic tea light lantern. The slabs of clay will be cut and pierced so that a tea light shines through the holes. You will also have the option to turn your luminary into a scented wax melter. No previous clay experience is required for this class. All tools and supplies will be provided by the clay studio. Your finished project will be glazed in your choice of color and ready for pick up approximately two weeks after class.

You will learn how Essential Oils can be used to naturally elevate your mood, improve your sleep patterns and support your immunity. Learn how they can soothe occasional aches and pains, reduce your daily stress and help manage anxious feelings. We will also discuss how Essential Oils can support your goals of maintaining a healthy weight by curbing your appetite, increasing your metabolism, and supporting your daily energy level. All participants will leave with 3 Essential Oil samples and 1 make and take Essential Oil product.

Woven Basket Pottery

Springtime is coming!  Easter is on the way, which makes the perfect time for baskets.  In this one-day course, you will use extruded coils of clay to create a woven ceramic basket that could be used to serve bread, hold whole fruit on the table, or be an Easter basket.  Your finished project will be microwave and dishwasher safe and glazed in your choice of color. Max 10

Your Money Personality

Managing your money is more than just numbers. In this workshop we will use a fun and unique “Money Habitudes” card sort activity to identify your money management style. Developed by Syble Solomon, this process helps you learn how your habits and attitudes towards money affect your decisions and actions related to money. We will use the results as a starting point for thinking about how you can become more comfortable managing your money.
